Perspectivas de la Economía Familiar Campesina en la Comunidad Caranota, Anzaldo (2021-2022)

Abstract

Este estudio arroja conclusiones relevantes que enriquecen el debate en curso sobre la viabilidad de la agricultura campesina en el contexto contemporáneo. Los datos respaldan la idea de que la agricultura campesina no desaparecerá, sino que experimentará transformaciones significativas. La misma permanece como pilar de la seguridad alimentaria local, proporcionando los componentes esenciales de la dieta y ocupando la fuerza de trabajo familiar. Entre las familias con actividades múltiples, los jóvenes que optan por mantenerse en la comunidad reconfiguran el escenario rural. Su educación superior y habilidades versátiles, tanto en entornos rurales como urbanos, los convierten en agentes de cambio, capaces de introducir innovaciones que aumentan la productividad agrícola. En un contexto donde la urbanización se acelera y la industrialización es limitada, la economía campesina persiste como parte integral de la economía boliviana. Sin embargo, para mantener su relevancia, debe transformarse con el liderazgo de las nuevas generaciones. Más que un proceso de desaparición, se trata de una reconfiguración y resignificación de las familias y comunidades campesinas, adaptándose a un entorno en constante cambio.
