Uso de las redes sociales como recurso didáctico para la enseñanza de Química en 5.º de Secundaria en República Dominicana

Abstract

Las redes sociales son una herramienta importante para el aprendizaje colaborativo y el intercambio de información en el ámbito educativo. En el presente trabajo estas se utilizan como medio de divulgación científica de los resultados obtenidos en las prácticas de laboratorio realizadas en la asignatura de Química de 5.º de Secundaria, con el objetivo de fomentar la motivación y la creatividad en los estudiantes. Se trabajó con la metodología de investigación-acción basada en un método inductivo con estudiantes de 5.º de Secundaria del Politécnico Prof. Ana Gloria de la Cruz Estrella, en la ciudadde Santiago, República Dominicana. Se diseñaron tres prácticas de laboratorio de Química Orgánica, se crearon perfiles en una red social y se divulgaron en ella los resultados de las prácticas. Los resultados demuestran que la integración de estas plataformas en entornos educativos incrementa la motivación en los estudiantes por el aprendizaje de química.
