Участие сыновей Н.М. Карамзина в Крымской войне 1853−1856 годов

Abstract

Все трое сыновей знаменитого писателя автора «Истории государства Российского» Н.М. Карамзина приняли участие в Крымской войне. В 2024 году исполняется 210 лет со дня рождения и 170 лет со дня трагической гибели старшего сына Н.М. Карамзина Андрея Николаевича. В данной статье на основе рассказа о нем и сделан основной акцент. Главным источником информации об этой истории стали воспоминания Павла Виссенгофа сослуживца полковника А.Н. Карамзина. Кроме того, на основе документов Центрального архива Нижегородской области и Российского государственного исторического архива рассказывается о службе в рядах государственного подвижного ополчения Александра Николаевича и Владимира Николаевича Карамзиных. Некоторые из этих документов впервые введены в научный оборот. В результате исследования были выявлены и исправлены небольшие неточности предыдущих исследователей, касающиеся формирования дружин ополчения.
