El arte de incluir: desarrollo de murales cubistas como herramienta pedagógica inclusiva

Abstract

El arte mural, a lo largo de la historia, ha servido como un importante medio para la comunicación social y la expresión cultural. En el contexto educativo, los murales ofrecen plataformas creativas para la enseñanza y el aprendizaje colaborativo y contextual de temas sociales relevantes. Este estudio explora la creación de un mural colaborativo como herramienta para promover la inclusión y valorar la diversidad en un contexto educativo. Empleando el enfoque EDPIE (Evaluación-Diagnóstico-Planeación-Implementación-Evaluación), se diseñó un proceso que permitió la participación de estudiantes de bachillerato, con edades entre 13 y 16 años, incluidos estudiantes con discapacidad, en la creación de un mural que refleja la diversidad cultural y funcional de la comunidad escolar. La metodología incluyó entrevistas y grupos focales para evaluar la percepción de inclusión, talleres de codiseño para la planeación del mural, y su implementación colaborativa. Los resultados indicaron un aumento significativo en la conciencia y aprecio por la diversidad entre los estudiantes y docentes, así como una mejora en la cohesión social dentro de la escuela. El mural no solo embelleció el espacio escolar, sino que también se convirtió en un símbolo de compromiso de la comunidad educativa con los valores de inclusión y respeto. Este proyecto demuestra cómo los proyectos artísticos pueden contribuir en la promoción de un ambiente educativo inclusivo.
