
This article talks about the radifs used in most of the ghazals included in the “Devon” of Muhammadniyoz Nishoti, a bright representative of Uzbek classic literature and their characteristics. Examples of radif types are given throughout the article. Emphasis was placed on Muhammadniyaz Nishoti’s skill in using the radif and an attempt was made to reveal the characteristics of the radif.
