Capítulo 13. Análisis crítico de la ultraderecha neoliberal y la singularidad española

Abstract

El auge de la ultraderecha y de los discursos de odio en las naciones occidentales civilizadas, tras los recientes acontecimientos de crisis financiera, política y migratoria, ha puesto de relieve la importancia de los estudios comparados sobre el fascismo y el neofascismo. Siendo, sin embargo, menos habitual que se subraye la influencia y capacidad alienante de la ideología de ultraderecha económica y política sobre la identidad y movilización de la clase trabajadora, así como los peligros para la democracia, lo que ha supuesto también un resurgir del análisis (pos)marxista frente a la hegemonía del discurso populista neoliberal. En este resurgir de la extrema derecha están jugando un papel relevante los medios de comunicación y, en especial, las redes sociales e Internet, donde se está difundiendo como la pólvora la intolerancia y el discurso de odio por razones de clase social, raza, religión, orientación sexual, discapacidad, etc. En este capítulo se revisan las investigaciones sobre la nueva extrema derecha, especialmente en Europa y España. Y se sugiere un modelo explicativo de los factores de riesgo de ultraderechización social, a partir del cual se elabora y calcula un índice de propensión hacia actitudes reaccionarias e intolerantes de extrema derecha en España, desagregado por Comunidades Autónomas.
