In the BMBF-funded FAIR Data Spaces Project, we develop a common data space for research & industry with consideration for legal and ethical questions as well as ensuring compatibility with Gaia-X standards. We present the overall reference architecture, and showcase the usage of a federated catalogue for service offerings using the Geo Engine service as an example.
