Abstract

A educação é o alicerce para o desenvolvimento de uma sociedade próspera e sustentável. Em um mundo em constante transformação, a ciência desempenha um papel fundamental na compreensão e solução dos desafios contemporâneos. Nesse contexto, a Base Nacional Comum Curricular (BNCC) emerge como um instrumento essencial para a redefinição dos currículos escolares e, consequentemente, para a formação de cidadãos aptos a enfrentar as complexidades do século XXI. Este artigo tem como objetivo geral analisar as diretrizes do novo paradigma da ciência na BNCC e sua relevância para a formação dos estudantes, visando compreender como a ciência é abordada nesse documento e quais as implicações para a prática educativa. Além disso, busca-se identificar como a BNCC influencia o redirecionamento do ensino de ciências no Brasil, possibilitando uma formação mais abrangente e atualizada. Para isso, será realizada uma revisão bibliográfica que contemplará estudos sobre a BNCC, seus fundamentos e diretrizes relacionadas ao ensino de ciências. Adicionalmente, serão analisados casos práticos de escolas que já estão implementando a BNCC em suas grades curriculares, buscando identificar os desafios e benefícios que essa nova abordagem da ciência pode trazer para a educação brasileira.
