Filchnerella hexiensis nom. nov. For Filchnerella gansuensis Xi & Zheng 1985, secondary homonym of Filchnerella gansuensis (Xi & Zheng 1984). Despite same authors and distribution these seem to be different species with different original genera, Pseudotmethis in the latter. Etymology: Gansu seems to be a compound name of Ganzhou and Suzhou, important settlements in the historical Hexi Corridor, a part of the famous Silk Road.
