Abstract

En este trabajo abordamos el análisis de las obras de platería de la iglesia trujillana de Santa María La Mayor, donde tenemos piezas tan interesantes como una arqueta eucarística, un atril, candeleros, corona de plata del Niño Jesús, incensarios, lámpara o una escultura de plata de la Virgen con el Niño. Se añade un catálogo de artífices extraído de los libros de cuentas de la iglesia.

In this work we analyze the silver works of the Trujillo church of Santa María La Mayor, where we have interesting pieces such as a Eucharistic chest, a lectern, candlesticks, a silver crown of the Child Jesus, censers, a lamp and a silver sculpture of the Virgin and Child. A catalog of artisans extracted from the church's account books is also included.
