Abstract

Dataset containing the values of the calculated "straightness indexes" for each experimental replicate analyzed in the article: The distinctive chemotactic responses of three marine herbivore protists to DMSP and related compounds. Nomenclature: P_values_+ 'in' or 'out' or 'control' + _+ inital letter of the specie + _ + 1 letter identifying the compound + concentration in uM+ _ + experimental replicate number for example: P_values_in_D200_R1 stands for "Gyrodinium dominans, DMSP, 200 uM, first replicate, straightness indexes of trajectories going inside the test capillary" 'in' --> ingoing trajectories 'out' --> outgoing trajectories 'control' --> trajectories unaffected by the infochemical
