MES-CoBraD is a scientific project that strongly relies on the processing of data from diverse sources, including data specially protected under the GDPR. Because of the sensitivity of the project’s envisaged processing activities, the responsibilities and obligations of the consortium have been assessed side by side with the applicable ethical and normative frameworks. These frameworks have been defined as an “essential supporting structure” establishing the conditions and principles for the project ethical and data protection assessment. The second version of the Ethical and Regulatory framework reports describes how the project has dealt with the WP2 Task 2.1 concerning fundamental rights for data protection, as well as the social and functional acceptance of the research activities in MES-CoBraD and the development of MES-CoBraD platform.
