Análisis de las políticas públicas de discapacidad en Latinoamérica

Abstract

RESUMEN El artículo tiene como propósito analizar las políticas públicas y los marcos legales en América Latina en relación con la inclusión y la no discriminación de las personas con discapacidad. Se realiza una investigación de tipo cualitativa con enfoque documental. Se destaca la necesidad de garantizar la igualdad de oportunidades en todos los aspectos de la vida, no solo en el ámbito educativo. Se observa una disparidad significativa en el acceso y la calidad de los servicios y oportunidades para las personas con discapacidad. Además, se resalta la importancia de una mayor sensibilización y capacitación en la sociedad en general para promover la inclusión y combatir la discriminación. En este análisis, se examinan minuciosamente las leyes y regulaciones existentes y se identifican los desafíos persistentes en la implementación efectiva de políticas inclusivas y antidiscriminatorias.

ABSTRACT The purpose of the article is to analyze public policies and legal frameworks in Latin America in relation to the inclusion and non-discrimination of people with disabilities. Qualitative research was carried out with a documentary approach. The need to guarantee equal opportunities in all aspects of life is highlighted, not only in the educational field. There is a significant disparity in access and quality of services and opportunities for people with disabilities. In addition, the importance of greater awareness and training in society in general to promote inclusion and combat discrimination is highlighted. This analysis scrutinizes existing laws and regulations and identifies persistent challenges in effectively implementing inclusive and anti-discriminatory policies.
