Improving road safety by improving the driver training system

Abstract

The accident rate on the roads and streets of the Russian Federation remains high and can be attributed to the most serious socio-economic problems. Today, the driver training system includes theoretical knowledge, practical skills and driving experience. However, the training course is often limited to a minimum number of hours and does not always reflect all aspects of safe driving. The development of new training programs, the introduction of modern technologies and training methods, as well as increasing driver responsibility can help reduce the number of accidents and improve the overall situation on the roads. To increase the reliability of the driver's knowledge and skills, the article proposed a step-by-step system for issuing driver's licenses that works effectively in foreign countries.
