The Multi-Mission Geographic Information System (MMGIS), created though the Advanced Multi-Mission Operations System (AMMOS) and funded by the NASA Multi-Mission Ground System (MGSS), is a web-based mapping system designed to support Earth and planetary science operations. MMGIS takes advantage of open data format standards and free and open source geospatial (FOSS4G) spatial/mapping libraries to provide a comprehensive and operations performant application for making tactical and strategic decisions. The software is free to use under an Apache 2.0 license. This presentation describes the software capability which is deployed for 10 science missions (5 active and 5 upcoming) on Earth, Mars, and soon the Moon.
