Software and data for Tamama et al. (in prep), Earthquake growth inhibited at higher Coulomb stress rate at Groningen

Abstract

This repository ontains the data and code necessary for Tamama et al. (in prep), Earthquake growth inhibited at higher Coulomb stress rate at Groningen (to be submitted to Geophysical Research Letters). This repository contains the following: 1. The catalog of earthquakes compiled by the Royal Netherlands Meteorological Institute (KNMI) and the coordinates for the reservoir outline. All catalogs have the values of Coulomb stress and stress rate calculated using the mechanical model. 2. Functions to calculate the b-value 3. Code to compare changes in b-value with space. 4. Code to compare changes in b-value with time. 5. Code to compare changes in b-value with Coulomb stress. 6. Code to compare changes in b-value with Coulomb stress rate. 7. Code to plot the remaining figures in this manuscript.
