D6G Programmable Networks at Ericsson Research Budapest Open House

Abstract

On April 23rd, the ERI-HU team had the opportunity to showcase our work on Programmable Networks at the Ericsson Research Budapest Open House event. They presented their contributions to DESIRE6G's WP4, focusing on the development of a modular, cloud-native user plane. Gergely Pongracz presented the project and main innovations through a poster (posted on https://desire6g.eu/), while Faris Alhamed demonstrated two demo videos. The event provided a platform for networking with Ericsson's management delegation from Sweden, increasing the project's visibility. The DESIRE6G stand was picked as a stop on their tour, sparking insightful conversations with Ericsson's head and R&D managers.
