Explorando o poder da gamificação para um processo de ensino-aprendizagem envolvente e efetivo

Abstract

O uso de gamificação no contexto educacional é considerado como uma estratégia de ensino inovadora que torna o processo de aprendizagem mais eficiente, significativo, interativo e atrativo. Quando empregada corretamente, a gamificação proporciona estímulo ao protagonismo e auxilia na resolução de problemas, além de gerar motivação, engajamento, participação e, principalmente, melhorias no desempenho e resultados por parte dos estudantes. Com base neste cenário, este minicurso tem como objetivos explorar o poder da gamificação na educação e apresentar ferramentas a serem utilizadas no processo de criação de games, os quais podem ser utilizados nas mais diversas áreas de ensino. Portanto, o minicurso será conduzido em dois blocos. No primeiro momento, conceitos, benefícios e elementos da gamificação serão apresentados e discutidos de forma a promover maior conhecimento sobre aplicação do tema em sala de aula. Logo após, plataformas on-line de criação de games serão apresentadas e detalhadas, tais como: Scratch, Kahoot, Quizziz e Plickers. Com isso, atividades práticas serão desenvolvidas como forma de potencializar o aprendizado. Minicurso apresentado na XXVIII Semana Universitária da UECE.
