Московская «миллионерша» начала 1920-х годов

Abstract

На основе неопубликованных ранее эпистолярных материалов рассматриваются отдельные факты биографии Ирины Александровны Александровой. Этой девушке довелось жить в эпоху переломных событий. В своих письмах она достоверно отобразила некоторые характерные особенности столичной жизни начала 1920-х годов. Судьба молодой московской машинистки была очень непростой. Многих ее близких родных после революции раскидало по разным странам, кого во Францию, а кого даже в Соединенные Штаты. В архиве Екатерины Александровны Гуменской (урожд. Аристовой) в США и сохранились эти письма. Мы вводим их в научный оборот и надеемся, что они позволят нам оживить события столетней давности. В статье приводятся весомые доводы в пользу того, что девичья фамилия Ирины Александровны Александровой – Аристова, и она являлась сестрой Е.А. Гуменской и принадлежала семье потомков Демидовых и Далей.
