El regreso del Puma Indomable. Neoliberalismo y las luchas sociales desde la Escuela Pública en el Sur del Perú

Abstract

En el artículo se analiza la reacción de corrientes y movilizaciones indígenas libradas en el terreno altiplánico frente al devoramiento del espacio territorial a finales del siglo XIX e inicios del XX del viejo Perú: el primero, suscitadas en Huancané (1866-1868) y, la segunda, que tuvo como recinto explosivo las tierras de Azángaro en 1915. Ambas gestas históricas, muy aparte de revelar fuerzas dilatadas para el control y dominio de la tierra y el indio por parte de los señores de la tierra, también expresaron las primeras erupciones de maestros indígenas y escuelas en las precarias regiones del sur. Añadiendo así, ignorados elementos teóricos de convicción de que el pasado, también puede llegarse a discutir en el mañana desde una sólida interpretación de la escuela pública.
