
The biodegradable mulching samples underwent a visible degradation process in the soil at the experimental field of the University of Bari (Italy). The surface area of each sample clearly presented gaps that increased in size over time. After 42 days of burial the surface loss was 1.30%, reaching 56.70% on the last sampling.
