Abstract

ABSTRACT This article investigates the implementation of inclusive education practices, focusing on teachers' experience and perceptions. Using a quantitative approach, responses from 55 educators were analyzed through Google Forms surveys, to identify the main challenges and needs in current educational inclusion. The results highlight a marked need for specific training in inclusive strategies, with a focus on ongoing training and access to adaptive resources and technologies. Educators point to the lack of teaching materials that reflect cultural diversity as a major barrier, suggesting the need for more representative and accessible educational materials. Despite a generally positive assessment of institutional support, there is evidence of a desire for more defined inclusion policies and plans. The study reveals a progressive disposition towards greater awareness and institutional action in promoting inclusion. Continuing teacher education should be emphasized as essential to effectively address diversity in modern classrooms.
