This software distribution contains model codes for the Model for Prediction Across Scales - Atmosphere (MPAS-A) Version 4.0 that have been adapted to allow four dimensional data assimilation (FDDA) by analysis nudging. It also includes Linux scripts used to prepare FDDA target fields on the U.S. EPA computing platform and the MPAS-A computational mesh definition file used in a study described in a manuscript submitted to Geoscientific Model Development.
