Abstract

9.1 Mansoa difficilis (Cham.) Bureau & K. Schum., Fl. Bras. 8(2): 201. 1896. (Figs. 5 H; 6 P) Liana, 2,0−4,0 m compr.; ramos cilíndricos, estriados, lenticelas presentes, glabros; profilos das gemas axilares reduzidos, não foliáceos. Folhas 2-3-folioladas, com o folíolo terminal geralmente modificado em gavinha trífida, discos adesivos ausentes; pecíolo 0,6−3,0 cm compr.; peciólulos 0,4−2,8 cm compr.; folíolos concolores, cartáceos, ovais a elípticos, base truncada a arredondada, ápice agudo, 1,5−10,3 × 0,5−5,7 cm, margem inteira, glabros em ambas faces. Inflorescência em tirso, axilar, pubescente, tricomas simples. Cálice verde, cupular, 5-denteado, 0,6−0,8 × 0,3−0,4 cm, pubescente, tricomas simples; corola lilás, membranácea, infundibuliforme, 3,5−7,3 × 0,8−1,3 cm, externamente pubescente, tricomas simples; androceu com estames insertos, anteras 0,3 cm compr., glabras, filetes maiores 2.6−2.8 cm compr., filetes menores 1,9−2,0 cm compr., estaminódio 0,5 cm compr.; gineceu com ovário ca. 0,3 cm compr., glabro, lepidoto, estilete ca. 4,0 cm compr.; disco nectarífero anelar. Cápsula coriácea, linear, inflada, base e ápice arredondados, ca. 13,5−28,0 cm compr., estriada longitudinalmente, lenticelas esparsas, sem alas laterais, glabra; sementes não vistas. Distribuição: Mansoa difficilis distribui-se pelas florestas úmidas do Paraguai, Argentina, Bolívia e Brasil (Lohmann & Taylor 2014). No Brasil ocorre em toda a costa brasileira, do Maranhão ao Rio Grande do Sul e nos estados do Amazonas e Amapá, onde ocorre em florestas secas, Cerrado e Mata Atlântica (Lohmann et al. 2020). Na Paraíba foi encontrada no interior de mata úmida no domínio da Mata Atlântica. Fenologia: Foi coletada com flores em julho e outubro, e com frutos em outubro. Comentários taxonômicos: Mansoa difficilis pode ser reconhecida pelo cheiro de alho em toda a planta, pelas gavinhas trífidas e cálices cupulares, 5-denteados. Material examinado: BRASIL.
