From Climate Science to Decision-making: how policymakers and final users ca benefit from research outcomes

Abstract

As part of the 2024 UN Ocean Decade Conference, TipESM co-organised the Satellite Event, Monitoring the Ocean, in Barcelona on April 8th, 2024. The event consisted of a panel discussion and exhibition event. As part of the panel discussion, we had 6 experts providing overviews on ocean monitoring from Earth Observations to in situ observations, to supercomputers and modelling. Ana Oliveira (+ATL) presented online how policymakers and final users can benefit form research outcomes.
