FOSSR proposal takes a systemic approach to gender equality by 1) structurally monitoring gender balance in the project governance and training opportunities and 2) integrating the gender lens in all capacity building and outreach activities, 3) supporting gender diversity in researchers’ selection processes by revising the standard CNR call for proposal for fix term position. FOSSR recognise that knowledge management, including the research infrastructure design, can play a critical role in promoting gender equality and diversity & inclusion in Research and Innovation by sharing and communicating a culture of inclusiveness.
