Abstract

Resumo: Esse trabalho se objetiva na importância da diagnose diferencial na determinação da causa da morte nos casos das asfixias mecânicas, distinguindo entre o suicídio e o homicídio onde são discutidos os principais aspectos a serem considerados pelos Peritos Criminais, incluindo evidências na cena do crime, padrões de lesões, histórico médico e comportamental da vítima e outros. A compreensão precisa desses elementos é fundamental para garantir uma investigação forense justa e rigorosa. Palavras-chave: Diagnose Diferencial. Asfixia Mecânica. Homicídio. Suicídio.
