Abstract

Pseudogaurax tridens Sabrosky, 1966 Material examined. BRAZIL. Pará: Belém, Research Campus of Museu Paraense Emílio Goeldi, 1°27’06.5”S 48°26’38.8”W, 08.IX.2016, leg. F.S. Carvalho-Filho, reared from pupae of Cicinnus infected with an entomophagous fungus (2 females). Distribution. Brazil (Pará, Santa Catarina). Natural history. The analyzed specimens were obtained from pupae of Cicinnus sp. (Mimallonidae) infected with an entomophagous fungus. Remarks. This species has been recorded only for the type-locality in the state of Santa Catarina, southern Brazil (Sabrosky & Paganelli 1984). Therefore, this is a new record from the Brazilian Amazon.
