
13. Diacra convexa Emeljanov, 1961 Figs 53–58. MATERIAL. Southeastern Kazakhstan, rocky desert between the Ili River and the lower Charyn River, about 4 km west of the Charyn River, 43.720° N, 79.324° E, from Nanophyton iliense U.P. Pratov, together with the previous species, 14. VI.2022, signals of two males recorded at 24 ° C. SIGNALS. The male calling signal is a phrase lasting for 3.8– 6.3 s and consisting of two parts with a syllable repetition period about 40–100 ms and 18–20 ms, respectively (Figs 53–58). Often in the end of the first part of the phrase, the pulse amplitude decreases and their repetition period increases and becomes very variable (Figs 53–54, 56).
