Microsoft Teams para el fortalecimiento de competencias digitales en la enseñanza de desarrollo web: una perspectiva universitaria

Abstract

El siguiente trabajo investigativo buscó analizar cómo la aplicación de Microsoft Teams influye en el fortalecimiento de las competencias digitales en estudiantes universitarios en el contexto de la asignatura de desarrollo web en una universidad nacional en 2021. Se empleó un estudio de naturaleza cuantitativa de tipo aplicada, con un diseño cuasi experimental y un alcance correlacional causal. Se administraron pre y pos pruebas a un grupo de control y uno experimental para evaluar el efecto de Microsoft Teams en las competencias digitales. La muestra consistió en 200 universitarios seleccionados intencionalmente, quienes respondieron un cuestionario de 21 preguntas con escala Likert, cuyos datos fueron procesados mediante Excel y SPSS (v26), demostrando que el 100% de los estudiantes en ambos grupos presentaban condiciones similares en cuanto a competencias digitales, sin diferencias significativas. Tras utilizar Microsoft Teams, se observó que en el grupo control, el 30% alcanzó los niveles de inicio, proceso y logrado, respectivamente, mientras que el 10% alcanzó el nivel destacado. En el grupo experimental, el 35% alcanzó el nivel logrado y el 25% el nivel destacado. Además, se encontró un t calculado de -11.128, con gl=20.178, y un valor de p menor a 0.05, lo que indica diferencias significativas entre los grupos en el postest y confirma que la utilización de Microsoft Teams permite desarrollar competencias digitales en estudiantes universitarios.
