
In 2009-2022, the population of the Russian Federation and Uzbekistan, the number of cars, road traffic accidents, injuries and deaths from road traffic accidents were studied in a comparative manner. The population of the Russian Federation in 2009 was 5.2 times larger than the population of Uzbekistan, and in 2022 it was 4.1 times larger. In 2009, the supply of cars to the population in Uzbekistan was 4 times less than in the Russian Federation, and it will be equalized by 2022. For 14 years, the number of road traffic accidents in the Russian Federation has been decreasing, while in Uzbekistan, this trend has remained almost the same. It was found that injuries from road traffic accidents in Uzbekistan are 3-6 times lower than in the Russian Federation, and the death rate is 2-3 times lower.
