Abstract

Quercus rubra L. Rot-Eiche Art ISFS: 336200 Checklist: 1037340 Fagaceae Quercus Quercus rubra L. Bestimmungsschlüssel Zusammenfassung Artbeschreibung (nach Lauber & al. 2018): Bis 50 m hoher Baum mit dunkelgrauer bis brauner, lange glatt bleibender Rinde. Blätter 10-20 cm lang, buchtig-fiederspaltig, jederseits mit 4-6 nach vorn gerichteten Abschnitten, diese sowie ihre Zähne spitz und in eine kurze Granne ausgezogen, kahl oder unterseits in den Nervenwinkeln mit Sternhaaren, bis 5 cm lang gestielt. Fruchtstände sitzend oder ganz kurz gestielt. Schuppen am Fruchtbecher stumpf, anliegend. Eichel nur wenig länger als dick.
