Abstract

Corylus maxima Mill. Lambertshasel Art ISFS: 121620 Checklist: 1013340 Betulaceae Corylus Corylus maxima Mill. Zusammenfassung Artbeschreibung Stark verzweigter Strauch, selten Baum, 6-10 m hoch. Junge Zweige braun oder graubraun, drüsig behaart, Lentizellen weißlich. Blätter 70-140 mm lang; oberseits kahl, unterseits leicht behaart; gestielt, Blattstiel 8-15 mm lang; rund bis breit eiförmig, herzförmig, spitz, gezähnt, mit 7-9 Aderpaaren. Männliche Kätzchen 50-100 mm lang. Weibliche Blüten in Knospenbündeln, Narben zur Blütezeit rosa aus den Knospen herausragend. Die Nüsse sind braun, 1-4(-6); die Hülle ist zweimal so lang wie die Nuss, ellipsoid oder länglich, an der Spitze grau behaart.
