Abstract

Aprender en la actualidad puede presentar una serie de desafíos y problemas para los estudiantes, muchas veces relacionados a la falta de conexión con situaciones del mundo real o con la práctica de lo que están aprendiendo en el aula. En este sentido, se desarrolló el presente estudio que identifica las concepciones estudiantiles sobre el aprendizaje vivencial como estrategia pedagógica de las ciencias naturales, descubriendo de esta forma estándares y competencias que conduzcan a niveles más elevados de calidad en la educación. Para tales efectos se implementó una metodología cuantitativa de tipo descriptiva en una muestra de 111 estudiantes del décimo año de educación básica. Entre los principales resultados se detalla que existe predisposición e interés estudiantil por las actividades de tipo vivencial, reconociendo su importancia como estrategia para la enseñanza, por lo que resulta de gran importancia su implementación en el desarrollo académico de los estudiantes.
