Host plants: Medicago, Ononis (Fabaceae). General distribution: Europe, Caucasus, S and W Siberia, Central Asia (Kazakhstan), East Asia (China, Mongolia) [CAE]. Note: Some of the previous reports of this species (Barševskis 1993, 1997) are based on misidentification. Species is mentioned in the old bibliographical source Lackschewitz and Mikutowicz 1939 and in the published catalogues of Latvian Coleoptera (Telnov 2004; Telnov et al. 1997). Occurrence of this species in Latvia needs confirmation.
