Abstract

RESUMEN El presente trabajo de investigación tiene como objetivo indagar la aplicación del trabajo colaborativo en el aprendizaje del área de Ciencias Naturales de los estudiantes de sexto grado de Educación General Básica de la Unidad Educativa “La Granja CEBLAG”, del cantón Ambato. La investigación es importante porque, permite conocer los beneficios que brinda el trabajo colaborativo en el aprendizaje de los estudiantes. La metodología tiene un enfoque cuantitativo. El instrumento para la recolección de datos fue la encuesta con su respectivo cuestionario, que constó de una serie de preguntas y el mismo sirvió para medir las variables del problema. La población se conformó por 36 estudiantes de Educación General Básica y un docente del área de Ciencias Naturales. Se concluye que el trabajo colaborativo influye positivamente en el aprendizaje del área de Ciencias Naturales pues fomenta la colaboración, desarrollo del pensamiento crítico y la resolución de problemas a través de la interacción entre compañeros de clase que les conduce a alcanzar un aprendizaje significativo.

ABSTRACT The objective of this research work is to investigate the application of collaborative work in the learning of the area of Natural Sciences of the sixth-grade students of Basic General Education of the Educational Unit "La Granja CEBLAG", of the canton of Ambato. Research is important because it allows us to know the benefits of collaborative work in student learning. The methodology has a quantitative approach. The instrument for data collection was the survey with its respective questionnaire, which consisted of a series of questions and served to measure the variables of the problem. The population consisted of 36 students from Basic General Education and one teacher from the area of Natural Sciences. It is concluded that collaborative work positively influences learning in the area of Natural Sciences as it fosters collaboration, development of critical thinking and problem solving through interaction between classmates that leads them to achieve meaningful learning.
