Abstract

Functional Prototype 3 (FP3): Syngas Biomethanation The most promising reactor configuration in respect to filling material, operation mode (co- or counter-current operation, Gas and liquid flows, etc) for syngas biomethanation developed within WP4 will be applied in a 70L volume pilot biomethanation reactor. The methanation unit will be used to ferment the gas from biomass pyrolysis unit (or commercial syngas) until stable and continuous operation has been achieved. The Functional prototype 3 will be installed at Copenhagen, Denmark. Lead: DTU, Partners: BTPRO, CIRAD
