Abstract

Ganciclovir is a purine analogue used in the treatment of cytomegalovirus diseases. The literature survey on ganciclovir revealed a number of analytical methods for its quantification. Present review is focused on method conditions, linearity offered, sensitivity, accuracy, precision and assay results of various analytical methods. Keywords: Ganciclovir, Cytomegalo virus, Linearity, Spectroscopic method.
