Abstract: The article explains how the project to make Kleczew electric started and how it was done. The author systematically examines the historical and social circumstances that facilitated the emergence and advancement of this notion, and additionally presents the prin¬cipal individuals who played a significant role in propagating and implementing it. Further information is provided regarding sources of funding for the municipal power plant, its tech¬nical and economic characteristics, and the benefits it brought to the city of Kleczew and its residents.
