</script>Standardisation serves as a valuable approach to enhance the recognition of research outcomes, with many projects actively engaging in standardisation processes to expand the reach of their findings. In contexts where standardisation efforts are lacking and a broad impact is desired across various sectors and stakeholders, establishing a CEN-CENELEC Workshop to develop a CWA (CEN-CENELEC Workshop Agreement) can be a strategic choice. This method, involving an ad hoc group, proves efficient for translating Research and Innovation (R&I) outcomes into standards, serving as a precursor to potential European (EN) or International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO) standards. On 14 March 2024 from 10:00-11:30 CET, the HSbooster.eu Training Academy organised its "8th Training Session on Standardisation in Practice: Towards a CEN-CENELEC Workshop Agreement," aiming to guide R&I projects in understanding the CEN-CENELEC Workshop and CWA processes, addressing essential aspects such as initiation, prerequisites, and required resources. Valuable insights from experienced research projects will be shared, benefiting both project participants and those interested in standardisation fundamentals.
