
These are the AI-guidelines for research of the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB) in Belgium. These guidelines apply to VUB-researchers who are using generative AI during their research. A precise delineation of the scope can be found in the first section of this document. This version was prepared for dissemination on Zenodo. All sections of this document are identical to the version of VUB's AI-guidelines as of the 11th of October 2023 (Version 1.0). VUB-researchers must visit the internal SharePoint-page of RESEARCH to consult the most recent version of the AI-guidelines.
