
The article tells about the works of the Honored Artist of Azerbaijan Rais Rasulzade on the theme of homeland, Karabakh, war and the general artist's view on this topic. The development and formation of the artist is inextricably linked with Azerbaijan. Therefore, art connoisseurs and lovers, art critics and different generations of Azerbaijani artists are acquainted with the works of the master. Although he has many works in different genres, the artist prefers the genre of landscape. For this reason, we can see both portraits and landscapes of the artist related to Karabakh. Adhering to the traditions of the work on this theme, he was able to create unique paintings with different colors according to space and event. It is emphasized that the artist is very talented and his works are still loved by everyone in his homeland. The purpose of this article is to show the young generation the love of country in his work and to be an example. The author explores such concepts as "artist's creativity on the subject of war", "artist's ability", "artist's place in Azerbaijani art".
