ОБРАЗ СРЕДНЕВЕКОВОГО РЫЦАРЯ: ХАРАКТЕРНЫЕ ЧЕРТЫ И ПРОБЛЕМЫ САМОИДЕНТИФИКАЦИИ

Abstract

В данной статье представлен обзор особенностей западноевропейского средневекового рыцаря как культурного архетипа. Рассматриваются характерные черты распространённого в средневековой куртуазной и светской литературе образа рыцаря. Определяются объективные причины возникновения в сословном обществе воззрений, закрепивших тождество между образом конного воина и рядом социальных паттернов поведения. Поднимается вопрос об особенностях самоидентификации рыцаря как представителя одного из сословий трехчастной системы. В заключении сделан вывод о влиянии рыцарской культуры на западноевропейское общество и причины упадка рыцаря как социального явления.
