This is a work-in-progress database of Caddoan noun roots. If you would like access please request it. As this is still an early version, there are a number of outstanding tasks needing to be done before it can be used for quantitative analysis. Currently, it can serve primarily as a convenient reference for comparison and reconstruction. Please note that due to the underdeveloped state of the descriptive materials, it is possible that several entries are not roots but compound stems and it is absolutely certain that the cognate sets are not all corect. There will also be errors in the parsing of forms, and so one should double check the sources before using any entries from this first version. If you would like to contribute, please email me. TO DO: Add reconstructed forms Add column for which suffix occurs in excorporated forms Code for partial cognacy Reassess cognate sets Add IPA representation Tokenise Further specify concept sets
