The presented works are carried out in context of the Helmholtz Metadata Collaboration (HMC), an incubator-platform of the Helmholtz Association within the framework of the Information and Data Science strategic initiative. HMC Hub Information and HMC FAIR data commons are located and operate at the Institute for Materials Data Science and Informatics (IAS-9) at Forschungszentrum Jülich.
The Helmholtz Knowledge Graph accumulates metadata about digital assets from all over Helmholtz digital infrastrcutures. Here we look into how entities are represented by PIDs and how PIDs can be used to improve the data by inferring types and resolving entities of nodes in the graph.
