Método neutrosófico para determinar la prevalencia del sellado de perforaciones apicales con Biodentine® y MTA.

Abstract

Una perforación apical es una comunicación anormal entre los conductos y la superficie externa del diente de naturaleza iatrogénica o patológica. El uso de Biodentine® y MTA, son un ejemplo de cómo la tecnología puede intervenir en el manejo de accidentes. La presente investigación tiene como objetivo desarrollar un método neutrosófico mediante criterio de experto para determinar la prevalencia y resultados clínicos entre el Silicato Tricálcico (Biodentine®) y el MTA. En base a los resultados obtenidos con la implementación del método neutrosófico, tanto Biodentine® como MTA son materiales utilizados para la reparación de perforaciones apicales mismos que han cumplido con su función. Sin embargo, Biodentine® ha demostrado ser mejor que MTA a la hora de su aplicación, manejo y tiempo de exposición. Los resultados indican que el Biodentine® es un material novedoso con propiedades que facilitan la manipulación del operador en medios de difícil acceso, y permite conseguir una correcta terapia en periodos cortos de tiempo; mientras que MTA es un buen material que ayuda con el proceso de recuperación a largo plazo.
