Ansätze und Tools für Historische Text Reuse Detection Fragmentierter Text Reuse am Beispiel ripuarischer Inkunabeln des 15. Jahrhunderts

Abstract

Text Reuse Detection (TRD) ist ein Teilgebiet des Natural Language Processing mit dem Ziel, wiederverwendete Passagen in distinkten Texten zu identifizieren. Seit etwa zehn Jahren wird TRD vermehrt für historische Forschung erprobt und eingesetzt, wobei typische Charakteristika historischer Sprachdaten, wie geringe sprachliche Standardisierung oder fehlende digitale Ressourcen, die Durchführung erschweren. Der vorliegende Beitrag gibt einen Überblick über verfügbare Tools zur Historischen TRD und die ihnen zugrundeliegenden Ansätze. Anhand eines konkreten Forschungsvorhabens aus dem Bereich der mittelalterlichen Stadtgeschichtsschreibungs- und Inkunabelforschung wird ihre Anwendbarkeit auf kurzen Text Reuse in wenig erschlossenen Sprachen (hier: Ripuarisch) diskutiert.

Hinweis: In der ersten Version des Posters waren die Spalten der Tabelle „Systematischer Vergleich und Evaluation“ falsch benannt, so dass den Tools falsche Eigenschaften zugeschrieben waren. Dies wurde in der zweiten Version korrigiert. Tab. 1 und 2, Abb. 1 und 2 sowie die Beschreibungen im Text waren bereits korrekt in Bezug auf die Zuordnung der Ergebnisse zu den einzelnen Tools.
