Quo tendimus? Visualisierungen in digitalen Editionen am Beispiel der "Hybridedition der deutschsprachigen Werke des Martin Opitz"

Abstract

Im Rahmen des DFG-geförderten Projektes "Hybridedition der deutschsprachigen Werke des Martin Opitz" (2018-2023), welches an der Eberhard-Karls-Universität Tübingen angesiedelt ist und in Kooperation mit der Herzog August Bibliothek Wolfenbüttel sowie dem Anton Hiersemann-Verlag durchgeführt wird, werden nicht nur die ausstehenden Texte aus dem Œuvre des in Schlesien geborenen Dichters und Theoretikers Martin Opitz ediert sowie die 1990 abgebrochene Edition von George Schulz-Behrend retrodigitalisiert, sondern auch Arten der visuellen Zugänge zu seinem Leben und Werk erprobt. Eingebunden in ein weitreichendes Netzwerk von Intellektuellen und verschiedentlich mit diplomatischen Missionen betraut, finden sich als Auftraggeber aber auch in seinen Texten zahlreiche Persönlichkeiten (teils historisch, teils fiktional), die sich miteinander in Beziehung setzen lassen. Mehr noch gilt dies für Orte. Das Poster soll einen Einblick in das Projekt gewähren und dabei vor allem die angewandten Ansätze zur Visualisierung von Named Entities und weiteren Aspekten zeigen. Dabei spielen auch Überlegungen zu werte-sensitiven Design eine Rolle.
