Assessment on Regulation of Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) on Teachers' Attitude towards Students Behaviour Disposition

Abstract

This study assessed the regulation of teacher’s registration council of Nigeria and teachers’ attitude towards student’s behaviour disposition. The authors adopted episode conceptual method and inferential statistics. The population consists of 601 teachers that came for 2019/2020 in-service training in Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. Sample and sampling techniques was used in selecting the sample size for the study. The instrument for the study was a questionnaire tagged ARTCATA structured along 2 points Likert scale. Data collected was analysed using percentage and ANOVA. The findings revealed that most teachers in Kaduna State have negative attitude towards TRCN and this invariably affects behaviour disposition. The paper concludes that motivation determine what teachers do and attitudes determine how well they do their tasks.
