Abstract

Este proyecto curatorial se desarrolló a lo largo del año 2011, en el que se indagó en la colección para ofrecer una lectura transversal de la fotografía como una pieza clave para comprender e interpretar el devenir social y el sentido de lo público en la sociedad actual. El resultado se tradujo en una exposición y un libro, realizados en noviembre de 2011, dentro del marco de la Bienal Internacional de Fotografía FOTONOVIEMBRE 11. Las imágenes que conformaron este proyecto datan desde comienzos del siglo XX hasta la actualidad, y mostraban el trabajos de artistas como Harry Callahan, Edward Burtynsky, Evelyn Hofer, Matt Siber, Ian Wallace, Allan Sekula, Dorothea Lange, Diane Arbus, Robert Frank, Francesc Catalá-Roca, Paul Strand, Henri Cartier-Bresson, Walker Evans, Tacita Dean, Brassaï, Berenice Abbott, Roy Arden, Jean Mark Bustamante, Sophie Calle, Hannah Collins, Paul Graham, Vera Lutter, Ryuji Miyamoto y Alfred Stieglitz. · Exposición: Teresa Arozena, comisariado de la exposición Algo Falta.
